With over 25 years of experience as a creative producer and entrepreneur in media, branding, and(sound) design, I know the field inside out.
I’ve worked with deadlines, budgets, and the tension between drive, ambitions, and commercial reality for NPO, Ziggo, Nickelodeon, ZDF, Storytel, and many other A-brands.
This experience forms the basis of my coaching approach and gives me a distinctive perspective. Producing is about removing obstacles and bringing out the best in people. That’s exactly what I do now as a coach, but for your personal growth.
I know the emotional dynamics of creative work from the inside out. From concept to execution, from pitch to assessment. Today, I use this knowledge and intuitive approach to help you realise your potential, with more peace of mind, focus and authenticity.
Learnings from the Creative Industry
The creative sector is characterised by talent that wants to be expressed and seen. In recognition, appreciation and meaning. Linking this to production, technology, money and time constraints is an emotionally complex process. The work is always sensitive, and that is precisely what makes it so beautiful.
A world full of storytelling, positive and negative tension, energy, vitality and lots of expression of desire. A world that can give you a lot of energy, but also demands a lot from you. Your resilience is put to the test. Unique to the creative sector? Of course not! What I always find fascinating is the misperception of emotion in communication. Towards your client, your team, yourself. Internally and externally.
“Do your work with everything you’ve got. Dare to show yourself. That’s the only way to create good work, and at the same time the only way without compromising.”
